Factory Mondays @ Necto

Where: 516 E.Liberty, Ann Arbor, MI
About: Established in 2004, Factory is an internationally known Goth-Industrial night hosted by MC Yoda. In the booth the resident DJs Graphite and Jay Mysenthropia, along with rotating guest DJs spin Industrial, Synthpop, Aggrotech, Alternative & EBM in the Main Room. In the Red Room there is also music some may be interested in as well.
Best known for it's unique theme parties, among the annual favorites are Halfway to Halloween and the Goth Prom. Factory has brought in special guest DJs such as Andy Laplegua, Ronan Harris, Twiggy Ramirez, Mark Jackson, Joe Letz, Nero Bellum and END: the DJ.
They have hosted numerous live concerts as well under the Factory banner. Artists that have performed live include: VNV Nation, Combichrist, Aesthetic Perfection, Faderhead, X-Rx, BlakOpz, Suicide Commando, Icon Of Coil, Panic Lift, Surgyn, Straftanz, [:SITD:], and Mindphazer.
Observations: The rebrith of an Ann Arbor legend, Industrial Monday's at the Necto. State of the Art lighting, sound, and video, immersing the crowd in soul-pounding industrial, gothic, new romantic, and more. DJ Void 6, brings a new view on to a scene screaming for something new. Void 6's mixing, technique, and creativity bring a new element to old and new tracks.

Goth Night @ Leland City Club
When: Weekly events, 10:00pm to 4:00am
Where: 400 Bagley Ave, Detroit, Inside the Leland (parkinglot entrance) - Cass is the major cross street, Detroit, MI
Observations: This is a consistently evolving club that is currently blending the newer sounds with the old classics we know and love. The crowd is diverse and rather friendly as long as you are as well. It used to be the only solid "goth" club in Detroit, however now there is a large techno scene on many nights now.
DJs: Charles English, Jay Misenthropia, and various guests.
Cover: $5 (Some concerts may be more but that's very unusual.)
Door Policy: 18+. No license, no entry, no exceptions. No dress code but goth attire is the norm.
Drinks: Basic drinks, beers, and pitchers. Top shelf liquor available, but no fruit. Average between $4-$12. Drink specials are random throughout the night.
Directions: Take I-94 to Lodge Freeway South (to Downtown)Then exit at Bagley Avenue and it's on the corner of Cass and Bagley or.... From I-75 exit onto Grand River. Take Grand River Avenue South to Cass and turn right. The Ramada will be on your right.
The entrance is an unmarked black door on the west side of the building by the parking lot. $5 for parking in the gated patrolled lot next to the club (spots can fill up fast). There is usually parking available for free on the street - but beware of the free parking!!! This IS DETROIT! If you partake in the free parking, please park under a streetlight and hide your valuables. (also occasionally but rarely the police ticket and tow vehicles at random because the free parking isn't actually free.)

Industrial's Not Dead / Thirst Wave @ Small's
When: It skips around, usually bi-weekly though.

Observations: These nights focus on either new school (IinD) or old school (TW) goth. Somteimes they combine the nights into one as well.
DJs: Pleasure Kitten, Aaron Hingst, and DJ Elektrosonik, with various guests.
Drinks: $2 Wells and Domestics Until 10pm. $1 Off Tallboys all night.
