The events below are ordered primarily by location and then by frequency. Please feel free to add any that are missing, as if we don't know then we don't go and if we don't go they die. Finally, if you don't have an event night by you then consider starting one!

Ann Arbor

Factory Mondays

Date: Every Monday

About: Established in 2004, Factory is an internationally known Goth-Industrial night. In the booth are resident DJs Jay Mysenthropia and Remnant, along with rotating guest DJs that spin Industrial, Synthpop, Aggrotech, Alternative & EBM in the Main Room. In the Red Room there is also music some may be interested in as well. Best known for it's unique theme parties, among the annual favorites are Halfway to Halloween and the Goth Prom. Factory has brought in special guest DJs such as Andy Laplegua, Ronan Harris, Twiggy Ramirez, Mark Jackson, Joe Letz, Nero Bellum and END: the DJ. They have hosted numerous live concerts as well under the Factory banner. Artists that have performed live include: VNV Nation, Combichrist, Aesthetic Perfection, Faderhead, X-Rx, BlakOpz, Suicide Commando, Icon Of Coil, Panic Lift, Surgyn, Straftanz, [:SITD:], and Mindphazer.
Observations: The rebirth of an Ann Arbor legend, Industrial Monday's at Necto. State of the Art lighting, sound, and video. Has a basement that also plays Emo music for the kids.

Cover: $5 entry or free with pass (sometimes more for concerts.)

Bay City

Crypt at The Historic Masonic Temple

Observations: A place where bats young and old can gather and enjoy the sights and sounds of goth culture.

Note: Please note that due to stairs leading to the front door, as well as to the restrooms, our building is not yet accessible to all.

(Metro) Detroit

Goth Night

Date: Friday/Saturday, though it skips around, usually weekly though depending on other events.
Time: 9PM-3:30AM
Where: (Leland) City Club

Observations: Detroit's oldest dark alternative nights running since 1983! Crowd and staff are friendly. Has two very large sound systems on two very large dance-floors with different DJs each, though these days only the front room is open unless there's a big event. Really focuses more on Emo and Techno nights these days, but will do oldschool every so often. Lighting in the back room is concert level, while the front room is a little less intense.
DJs: Jay Misenthropia with various guest DJs.
Door Policy: 18+ - $10 if the front room is open $20 if both rooms are open. If you show up on a concert night I'm sorry as that can be much more.
Drinks: I don't drink, so I can't comment. Personally I don't drink anything unless it's sealed though.

Happy Endings

Date: Every last Saturday of the month (except December when it's NYE) Hours: 10PM-2AM (they are open before 10 but that's when the event starts.) Where: Eastern Palace Club 21509 John R Road Hazel Park, MI 48030 Description: Where us old goths go to party. Mostly New Wave/Alternative from the 80s and 90s but they've been known to throw on an Industrial track or two. Sort of reminds me of Luna when that used to be around. There is a kitchen there called The Smoked Lotus if you get there before it closes. Industrial's Not Dead / Thirst Wave

Date: Friday/Saturday but it skips around, usually bi-weekly though on one night or the other.

Observations: These nights focus on either new school (IinD) or old school (TW) goth. Sometimes they combine the nights into one as well. DJs: Elektrosonik, Aaron Hingst, Jon Noble, and sometimes with various guests.

Black Planet

Description: An actual goth night where Justin Carver (of Something Cold) and DJ Saint spin vinyl records featuring goth, post-punk, and deathrock for your listening pleasure.
Observations: Last night was their first event at Outer Limits and it was pretty packed. I'd say like 30-50 people at least but it's not a huge bar (so it'll probably become a regular thing unless they hate money.) Large outdoor smoking patio with a fire pit. Everyone is very friendly and there was no drama that I saw. Minimal lighting so if you have sensitivity issues it's not that bad. Heavy fog, but not to the levels of "Something Cold" where you can't even see your hand if you hold it out.
